Rain

The chalice of the mind

Hold it up to the spring

From it flows boundless knowledge

Who’s waters dissolve all

Ignorance, Hate, Dishonesty

The rapists of logic

Pervious to the relentless truth

Yet some deny the drink

They wallow in filth

Masquerade with liars, cheats, deserters

Madness cakes their bones

Denser than flesh

Amalgamations of former beauty

The rain washes nothing away

Too few drink from the spring

It has been forgotten

The waters are murky

The reign of Chaos is the only rain now

The bigots and close-minded run wild

Though with hope may come clarity

In the battle of intelligence

For when it rains, here, it pours
